International Saarmesse
The Saarland's largest consumer and lifestyle fair, with around 500 exhibitors on 40,000 m² - from building and gardens to fashion and food.
The International Saarmesse is the centerpiece of the Saarland's trade-fair calendar. Across roughly 40,000 m² at the exhibition grounds in Saarbrücken-Brebach, some 500 exhibitors present nine days of what is new in living, building, fashion, sport, tourism and food.
Long-standing highlights include the country pavilion with its rotating guest nation, the "Garden & Outdoor" theme park with live demonstrations, and the Saarland food mile with Lyoner sausage, Schwenker grill and regional wine.
Open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Getting there: take the Saarbahn tram line 1 to the "Brebach" stop, or drive via the A 6, exit Saarbrücken-Brebach (paid parking directly at the grounds).
